To further enhance our already incredibly flexible Sontronics STC-1 instrument cardioid condenser mic, individual omni-directional and hypercardioid capsules are also available in the shape of the Sontronics OMNI and HYPER capsules.

If you have critical recording applications that dictate the need for a specific pickup response, then these capsules will do the job without complication. Simply unscrew the STC-1's standard cardioid capsule and screw on the new one… it really is as easy as that!

The capsules are also compatible with the Sontronics STC-1S matched pair, although with the OMNI or HYPER capsules fitted, the microphones are no longer classed as 'matched'.

Each capsule is available in black or silver and supplied in its own ringbox with magnetic closure.
