The Sontroncis MATRIX-10 is a professional-quality mobile microphone stand made from brushed aluminium tubing. It has the ability to support up to 6 kilogram (although recent tests in Sound On Sound magazine showed that MATRIX-10 can support up to twice that weight!).

Its sturdy central post extends by way of quick-release/quick-lock clips from 1.12 metres to 1.7 metres and is internally damped to support heavy loads. The MATRIX-10 telescopic boom arm, attached to the main stand with a heavy-duty ABS clamp, extends from 1.2 metres to 2.25 metres and is counterbalanced by a moveable cast-iron weight.

The MATRIX-10 comes with a separate dolly cart that transforms it into a mobile stand. The dolly can be fitted to the tripod in seconds thanks to its simple adjusting clamps, adding 10cm to the overall height of the stand. Each wheel has a foot-operated brake to provide optimum stability. When not in use, the wheels fold up to be stored in the rugged canvas bag.
